Heritage Arboretum Hours
The CSU Heritage Arboretum is open daily to the public, free of charge during daylight hours. The arboretum has wide pathways paved with fine crushed gravel that is easily accessible .
You are encouraged to visit and take note of the varieties being grown and to observe and study the different growth habits, tolerances and visual characteristics of the many different varieties that have been put on display.
Please respect our garden and our research efforts
Do not remove any plant material from the arboretum. This is designated as a “passive” park and no athletic activities/games are allowed. Dogs must be kept on a leash, allowed only on the paved sidewalk and picked up after.

The Heritage Arboretum on the Colorado State University campus is located at 820 West Lake Street, directly west of Canvas Stadium.

See map below and follow sidewalks to the west for the Heritage Arboretum entrance on W. Pitkin Street or follow sidewalk next to stadium to the south for entrance via the Heritage Garden and Arboretum on West Lake Street.

Trees are located south/east of the Horticulture Center Greenhouse and south/east of the tall black fenced area. Trees are arranged in rows and there are no shrubs at this site.
